“I went to Sue to try and wean myself off pretty heavy medication that I had been taking for over 18 months. I felt the medication wasn't necessarily doing what it should or that I had just become addicted to taking them and I also wondered if my body actually needed it any more.  This was fairly daunting for me but I wanted to explore other options that were of a natural remedy rather than Pharmaceutical based.

I felt immediately at ease with Sue, she spent over an hour asking questions and listening to my answers, these questions were broad based then became more focussed on the underlying issues that I was facing. Sue was then able to determine the best course of action for me. Each 'medicine" or what I now term herbal remedies were explained carefully and in a language that was easy to understand. Sue always paused to answer any questions that I had, reassuring me that the combination that she was giving me was right for my body and also explained that this was to work in combination with the prescribed medication in the beginning and then I would start to lower the amount of prescribed drugs to eventually taking none.  She encouraged me to discuss the plan with my doctor.

Once I had begun to take  the remedies I could feel changes happening very quickly, Sue kept in touch on a regular basis to check on how I was feeling. The information given to her allowed Sue to adjust the amounts I was taking if necessary and/or keep them the same. During my time coming off the prescribed medicine I contracted covid, Sue immediately gave me another "tonic" or two to boost my immune system whilst processing this virus. Within a period of 6-8 weeks I was off my prescription medicine, continuing on with the herbal approach for a further 4-6 weeks.  

My condition has not returned, my sleep patterns have improved and I feel so much more energetic than I had before. I have no doubt that working with Sue has led to a huge change in the way my body not only processes pain but deals with it. 

 I will not hesitate in going to Sue for any ailment/concern whether it be big or small. Her gentle manner and knowledge of herbal remedies is second to none, leaving me with a feeling of being supported but secure in the knowledge that my total being is in excellent hands.

“I went to see Sue for help with poor mental health including mainly anxiety but an overall feeling of being overwhelmed. Sleeping very poorly maybe 1 to 3 hours a day. ad racing thoughts. Stressed and angry. Having a difficult time with extreme thoughts and felt like I was losing my mind.

My experience with prescribed drugs in the past is they don’t provide sufficient sustainable relief to function normally and put something like this behind me properly. And I found it difficult to get targeted help due to time restrictions and what seems like a one size fits all drug based approach. I had also tried sleeping aids like melatonin and over the counter supplements and herbs. Some of which had positive effect for a time but then became much worse in the end.

Without the holistic approach, depth of diagnosis and individualized response. I think I would have ended up with a generic drug based solution, which in my opinion would have lead to a lesser end result and more risk of prolonged suffering.

Her approach was comprehensive, giving me herbs and supplements and diet advice, alongside teaching me skills like breathing and how to take charge of my mental attitude. “Before I went to Sue I couldn’t sleep, was having panic attacks, and nearing burnout.  I had been to the GP and tried different sleeping pills etc, exercise but it wasn’t helping. No-one was actually finding out how I was feeling. I felt they were too quick to offer mind bending drugs.  I had tried some and had awful side effects.
